Yeda Duarte-Pierce is Brazilian American; raised in a U.S. military household, has had the opportunity to live and study all of the world. She has worked over 9 years in healthcare as a licensed physical therapist assistant and is currently in a leadership role as the patient access supervisor for the Spine Center at the University of Virginia. She has her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from Regent University. Duarte-Pierce is intentional about making an impact within her current health system regarding the recruitment and retention of diverse backgrounds in leadership positions.
